![]() Let's overpay a few more execs, give departing exbarrassed directors overly large payoffs and honour suspect previous employees. They did the same a few years ago and had no end of complaints but do they listen. I too am a Windows user and was really annoyed to discover this latest balls up by them. ![]() For a few years now, the BBC has been completely, ok, extremely, non-inclusive in the way it makes it's programs available. However, annoyingly get_iplayer will no longer name them correctly, rather using a generic title and the PID, so you'll need to do that after they are downloaded.Īntagony: I completely agree. So if you run this every week, you will just get the new episodes. ![]() If you have already downloaded it, and it's still in your specified download folder, it will tell you this, and skip it. If the programme is no longer available, it will skip it. Get_iplayer will step through the individual PID included in the index and try to download them one after the other. If you use the command get_iplayer -pid=b01q9qgc -type=radio -pid-recursive So for Rodigan, this is available from this page. This is available on the main programme page, not the episode page. To (kind of) use the command line as a PVR, you can use the programme index PID. Also, if you use a PID, you do not need to tell it to -get. To get this show, you use get_iplayer -pid=b04n27pj -type=radio So for the latest David Rodigan show, at this URL the PID is b04n27pj. ![]() This is the this is found at the end of the iplayer web URL. To download a specific show, you can just use the PID. The RSS feed that get_iplayer uses to index and search shows has been removed, but there are still a couple of quick ways to get the shows and even (sort of) PVR. ![]()
